Pro Guiding Service guide Kurt Hicks has been on a tear developing the new comprehensive Snoqualmie Valley rock climbing guidebook. This new book is updating the popular Exit 32 and 38 climbing areas in North Bend plus it will include new areas that previously were undocumented. There's bolted and trad routes up all 3 forks of the Snoqualmie river, select dry tooling routes and a handful of exciting crags around Snoqualmie Pass as well. This new book promises to be a wealth of terrain to explore in North Bend and up the I-90 corridor.
Kurt will be at Pro Ski and Mountain Service Friday night July 10th from 5pm to 8pm to give a short talk introducing his new book and discussing the process of compiling the beta for the project. This is a unique opportunity to meet with the author and get a window into the process of building a guidebook. Plus get an insider's view on some new routes and terrain ahead of the guidebooks release in January 2016.
