Offered January through April! For advanced backcountry skiers only! The peaks around Crystal Mountain hold a collection of backcountry skiing gems that should not be missed. There are couloirs to ski, peaks and slopes with views hard to find, and hidden powder lines to discover. If you are an experienced backcountry skiier, come with us and discover the amazing terrain of Crystal Mountain's backcountry. If our scheduled dates don't work for you just give us a call and we can add your preferred date to our calendar!
Offered January through April! Open to advanced backcountry skiers (AT, Randonee, or Telemark) and splitboarders.
Your guide will contact you prior to the tour and suggest a tour appropriate for the group based on avalanche and snow conditions and the group's skill level. See Itinerary for a list of possible day trips.
We also offer this trip any day of the season on a private basis. Advertised price based on 3-4 skiers per guide.

Skills Required: Advanced downhill skiing/riding ability and extensive ski touring experience required.

We will meet at the Crystal Mountain base area and start touring into the backcountry from there. We have the option of getting a single lift ride to the top of the ski area to start touring from there (lift ticket not included in the price).

Although tipping is not a requirement, it is considered standard practice in the guiding industry and is appreciated by our guides. We generally recommend roughly 10%-20% of your course or trip cost or a flat amount that you are comfortable with.
